Evidentiary hearing is a "highlight" of arbitral proceedings. In Japan, various options of hearing venues are available to meet the parties' needs and preferences.

Japan International Dispute Resolution Center ("JIDRC") furnishes the state-of-the-art hearing facility located in the heart of Tokyo (Toranomon) and Osaka (Nakanoshima). In JIDRC-Tokyo, there are two large rooms for hearings and six smaller rooms that may be used by the members of the tribunal, the parties and their counsels.

Should the parties prefer, JCAA Secretariat can arrange the conference rooms for arbitration hearing at JIDRC, at the same building of JCAA office, at other readily accessible locations or at hotels that suit the various needs of parties.
